Are the webcams free to watch?
Yes. UKCam links to publicly available streams run by councils, businesses, and wildlife trusts, and watching them costs nothing.
Why is a cam sometimes offline?
Cams are run by their owners, and weather, maintenance, or nesting seasons can take a feed down. We flag cams that have been offline for more than a week.
Do the cameras show private spaces?
No. The directory only lists cams pointed at public scenes such as beaches, streets, and reserves, and we remove any feed that raises privacy concerns.
